AussieCalcs is a set of free Australian money calculators: tax, leave, rent, property, pay and more. Each one answers a single question, shows its working, and cites the official source for every rate it uses. We’re not a broker, a lender or an adviser.

Where the numbers come from

Every rate and threshold comes from an official source (the ATO, state revenue offices, Fair Work or Treasury), is recorded with a link and a verification date, and is re-checked every 1 July and after every budget. Each calculator shows exactly how it reached its answer. If you find a number that’s wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it and say so. The full editorial policy explains the process.

How the site makes money

Some pages carry ads, and some carry referral links to compare products or talk to a broker. Both are marked, both sit below the result, and neither changes a calculation. We accept partnerships with banks, mutuals, mainstream online lenders, brokers, lease providers and super comparison services. We decline payday, short-term and “no credit check” lenders.
